6. Knowledge Management and Information Technology (KIT)

Knowledge Management CDP supports the development of media, information and technology resources to advance human achievement and understanding. Indigenous Ethno-botanical knowledge Managementcan serve as an effective development tool to improve the living conditions of indigenous communities without degrading the environment. Proper documentation of ethno-botanical knowledge produces a written cultural heritage that can be passed on from generation to generation.
CDP distributes Information Packages on Human Rights, Good Governance, Development Effectiveness as well as on Climate Change policies at grassroots level to inform citizens about what Government is doing.Through out the time after inceoption CDP has developed several institutional resources like "Tutu Training & Resource Center" and "Tutu Alternative Media & Publishing Center" to support this program unit.
